Benedict Wong Reveals The Fate of Wong After Avengers: Infinity War

A lot of heroes died after Avengers: Infinity War. When Thanos snapped his fingers, we lost Spider-Man, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and others. However, one of the supporting characters whose fate was not revealed was Wong, who was last revealed returning to the Sanctum Sanctorum after Thanos’ forces captured Doctor Strange. During a recent AMA on Reddit, a fan inquired about whether or not Wong should take over Strange’s mantle of Sorcerer Supreme now that he has literally bit the dust.

Wong said: “Ha! Why not! He’s currently guarding the Sanctum.”

No one would know more about Wong’s fate than Wong, so it seems he survived the Snap after all. Guess he’ll be able to make Tony’s wedding. We’ll have to wait for Avengers: Endgame to see if Tony himself can make it.
