According to TMZ, Burt Reynolds (the star of such films as Deliverance, The Longest Yard, Boogie Nights, Smokey and the Bandit and many more) has passed away at the age of 82 following a heart attack Thursday morning at a hospital in Florida. He was transported to a Florida hospital after going into cardiac arrest; his family was by his side when he passed. Reynolds had heart issues for years, and underwent major heart surgery in February 2010. Reynolds was nominated for an Oscar for best-supporting actor his role as porn director Jack Horner in Boogie Nights in 1997; he won the Golden Globe that year. On behalf of 411, my condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Mr. Reynolds.
