CBS Developing Northern Exposure Revival With Rob Morrow

CBS is planning a trip back to Cicely, Alaska. The network is developing a revival of Northern Exposure with original star Rob Morrow attached according to THR. Original creators Joshua Brand and John Falsey are also attached to the project. Brand, Falsey, Morrow and Ben Silverman will executive produce, with Brand writing the script. John Corbett, who played Chris Stevens, will produce.

Northern Exposure followed a New York doctor, Joel Fleischman, who is required to practice medicine in Alaska to repay the state for underwriting his medical education. The reboot would see Fleischman (Morrow) returning to Cicely for a funeral, where he reunites with old friends and meets new characters.
