Colin & Casey Jost Writing New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie

There’s a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie in the works, and it’s coming from Saturday Night Live vet Colin Jost and his brother. Deadline reports that Colin and Casey Jost are set to write the script for the new film, which will be produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Scott Mednick and Galen Walker.

It is not yet clear if this will be a direct continuation of the franchise as relaunched under the 2014 film and its 2016 sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. The first was a success, while the second was much less so.

Plot details are under wraps for the new movie, though Deadline notes that Paramount still sees the franchise as a “high priority.”
