David Dastmalchian Joins Cast Of Christopher Nolan’s Next Film Oppenheimer

The Hollywood Reporter reports that David Dashmalchian (The Suicide Squad, Dune) has joined the cast of Christopher Nolan’s next film, Oppenheimer. Dastmalchian previously worked with Nolan on The Dark Knight, which was also his first big break in film.

The film will be a biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer, one of the people who invented the atomic bomb. Dastmalchian’s role is being kept secret. The film also stars Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, David Krumholtz & Kenneth Branagh. Production started this week, and it will be released by Universal Pictures on July 21, 2023.
