David Gordon Green Says Halloween Kills Has His Most Violent Scene Yet
Director David Gordon Green says that Halloween Kills will bring his career to new heights of violence. Green took over the Twitter account for Blumhouse last weekend and talked about Halloween during a watch party of his 2018 sequel to the original film. While talking about the movie, he revealed that the scene in which Michael Myers savagely murders two podcasters doing a story on him was the most violent scene he had directed since 2008’s Pineapple Express, and suggested that the sequel will up the ante.
Andi Matichak, who plays Allyson in the last film and the current, chimed in to add that “Violence takes on a whole new meaning” in the new film.
This is the most violent scene I had directed since Pineapple Express, but then Halloween Kills… #HalloweenAtHome
