Director David Gordon Green says that Halloween Kills will bring his career to new heights of violence. Green took over the Twitter account for Blumhouse last weekend and talked about Halloween during a watch party of his 2018 sequel to the original film. While talking about the movie, he revealed that the scene in which Michael Myers savagely murders two podcasters doing a story on him was the most violent scene he had directed since 2008’s Pineapple Express, and suggested that the sequel will up the ante.

Andi Matichak, who plays Allyson in the last film and the current, chimed in to add that “Violence takes on a whole new meaning” in the new film.

The film is currently set to release on October 16th and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Robert Longstreet, Charles Cyphers, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, and Nancy Stephens. Plot details are being kept under wraps at the moment.
