Director Set For Venom 3
Venom’s next saga has a helmer, with Kelly Marvel set to direct the third film for the Marvel antihero. Deadline reports that Marvel, who co-wrote and produced the first two films, will step into the director’s chair for the third entry. Tom Hardy, who is back to star, worked with Marcel on the story that Marvel will write.
Plot details are not yet revealed about the film, which will follow on Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Venom took a brief trip to the MCU after the events of that film thanks to Spider-Man: No Way Home. He stayed on the sidelines, but a portion of the symbiote suit stayed back there when he was returned to his own universe.
The Venom franchise has grossed $1.362 billion worldwide. It is unknown whether any other characters from Sony’s Spider-Man Universe will appear.
