Guillermo del Toro’s long-awaited Frankenstein adaptation arrives this week, and the final trailer teases the meeting between the titular doctor and his monster. Netflix released the final trailer on Friday for the sci-fi horror film, and you can check it out in full below.
The new trailer offers more of a look at Jacob Elordi’s monster than we’ve seen yet. We see some of his interactions with Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac) and Elizabeth (Mia Goth). There is also plenty of action as the monster teases “carnage” to come.
Del Toro directs the film, based on the Mary Shelley novel, from a script he wrote. The film also stars Felix Kammerer, Charles Dance, and Christoph Waltz. It releases on Netflix on November 7th after playing in select theaters for the past few weeks. The synopsis reads:
Guillermo del Toro adapts Mary Shelley’s classic tale of Victor Frankenstein, a brilliant but egotistical scientist who brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.
