First Blood Author Embarrassed To Be Associated With Rambo: Last Blood
Rambo: Last Blood, the fifth film in the action series starring Sylvester Stallone, was released yesterday to negative reviews to critics. That’s no surprise, as no film in the series has received good reviews with the exception of 1982’s First Blood. However, this one also received scatching comments from First Blood author David Morrell, who noted on Twitter that he’s embarrassed to have his name associated with it. Morrell has been seemingly okay with the first of the series, as he wrote novelizations for the second and third films and praised 2008’s Rambo in spite of its graphic violence.
He wrote:
I agree with these RAMBO: LAST BLOOD reviews. The film is a mess. Embarrassed to have my name associated with it.https://t.co/Yd2G9T7A9A pic.twitter.com/RS0gGHzL5h
