Finn Balor Brings The Demon Back On WWE Smackdown, Saves Danhausen From Gunther

Finn Balor brought out The Demon on this week’s episode of WWE Smackdown to save Danhausen amid an assault from Gunther. Balor showed up in a segment on Friday night’s show in his Demon persona as Gunther was brutalizing Danhausen in the ring.
The segment began as Danhausen — who was serving as host for the show — came out and said he was going to reveal his most horrifying experiment. Instead though, Gunther attacked Danhausen from behind and powerbombed him through a table. He continued the assault and even a group of Minihausens coming out of the cloning machine couldn’t stop him.
Gunther put Danhausen in a sleeper and Danhausen issued a curse just before he was about to go out. The lights went down before Balor came out from under the sheet that Danhausen had been preparing to reveal on the stage. Gunther tried to take Balor down, but the Demon laid him out and then put him on the commentary table before hitting a Coup de Gras from a ladder.
You can see a clip from the WWE Smackdown segment below. The Demon persona of Balor last appeared at WrestleMania 42, where he defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight.
