First Promo Released For The Walking Dead: Dead City

The Walking Dead has come to the end, but the universe will continue and the first promo for The Walking Dead: Dead City is online. AMC aired the promo for the Negan and Maggie-centered spinoff series during the series finale of the main show on Sunday night, and you can see the video below.

The teaser shows Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) as they deal with zombies in New York City. The series will run six episodes and is described as follows:

[Dead City] envisions the popular Maggie and Negan characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.

There’s no release date yet set for the series, though it is expected to premiere in April 2023.
