Resident Evil is coming to Netflix with a live-action series this summer, and the first trailer is online. The streaming service revealed the trailer on Thursday for the upcoming show, which is set to release on July 14th.

The trailer gives us our first look at Billie and Jade Wesker, the children of Albert Wesker (Lance Reddick) who are moved by their father to New Raccoon City in 2022. After they are seemingly subjected to their father’s experiments with the T-Cell virus, we then flash forward to 2036 when Jade is alone in a post-apocalyptic London fighting the undead.

The eight-episode series stars Reddick, Ella Balinska, Adeline Rudolph, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Paola Nuñez, Ahad Raza Mir, Connor Gossatti and Turlough Convery. It is described by Netflix as follows:

Year 2036 – 14 years after Joy caused so much pain, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and mind-shattering creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connections to the sinister Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie.
