FOX Looking To Revive Last Man Standing

TMZ reports that FOX is considering rebooting the cancelled Tim Allen sitcom Last Man Standing, particularly in the wake of Roseanne‘s success.

There were rumors that the show was cancelled by ABC due to Allen’s conservative leanings. He said at the time that being a conservative in Hollywood was like living in 1930s Nazi Germany. His character on the sitcom was also conservative. Of course, Roseanne, which revealed that its title character is a Trump supporter, is rumored for a renewal after it brought in huge ratings.

The success of Roseanne showed FOX that there is a large audience of Trump supporters. They produced Last Man Standing when it aired on ABC, and are now in talks to not only bring it back, but air it on their network.

Meanwhile, they also have plans to bring over the How I Met Your Mother spin-off How I Met Your Dad. There have also been talks of revivals for That 70’s Show and Malcolm in the Middle. They want to revive Married with Children, but they can’t because Ed O’Neil and Katey Sagal are unavailable.
