Heather Locklear Claimed Boyfriend Tried to Kill Her Before Domestic Violence Arrest

Heather Locklear claimed that her boyfriend tried to choke and kill her during the argument that saw her arrested for felony domestic violence. E! News reports that according to a search warrant obtained regarding the incident, Locklear’s sister told police that Locklear told her that boyfriend Chris Heisser “choked her and tried to kill her.”

Police found Locklear and Heisser in a bedroom after responding to a domestic disturbance call. Heisser was standing on the side of the bed leaning over Locklear and holding her wrists as she lay on the bed, with the officer noting “it appeared that Chris was restraining Heather on the bed. Neither of them was striking each other or appeared to be struggling.”

Heisser denied the allegations against him to investigators, saying Locklear attacked him and that he was defending herself. The police files say that Locklear “continued to scream that Chris tried to kill her, but she would not calm down enough to give the deputies a statement” as she was walked to the car. She then displayed combative behavior enough that deputies placed a hobble around her ankles in order to prevent her from kicking them. She verbally berated officers as well.

Locklear was ultimately arrested for felony domestic violence and assaulting a police officer. She has checked into a treatment center after her arrest, with her next court hearing set for March 12th.
