Deadline.com has a report on films and trailers that will be showcased this year during the Super Bowl broadcast. Per the report, Disney is opting out of showing a trailer for Star Wars: Episode 9 during the big game. However, Hobbs and Shaw, starring The Rock and Jason Statham, will have a trailer debuting during the Super Bowl.

Previously, Disney and Lucasfilm released a teaser for Solo: A Star Wars Story for the Super Bowl. However, the report indicates that Disney believes the studio can create its own event for whenever they want to launch the trailer ahead of the film’s release on December 20. There were some early rumors that an Episode 9 trailer might debut during the game, but that appears to no longer be the case.

Disney has not confirmed if it will have any other trailers for the Super Bowl. However, the studio has used the Big Game in the past to showcase many of its properties, including Marvel. Upcoming Disney releases include Captain Marvel on March 8, Avengers: Endgame on April 26, Aladdin on May 24, Toy Story 4 on June 21, and Dumbo on March 29.

Paramount is planning to launch a pre-game spot for the Nickelodeon Movies animated feature Wonder Park during the game, which arrives on March 15. Meanwhile, Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. are reportedly sitting out out for the Super Bowl this year. There was speculation there could be a trailer for Shazam!, but Warner Bros. instead decided to promote the film during this year’s AFC and NFC playoff games.

Thus far, Fox is staying tight-lipped on a Super Bowl presence. One of Fox’s next major releases is Alita: Battle Angel on February 14. Meanwhile, X-Men: Dark Phoenix arrives on June 7.

Hobbs and Shaw arrives on July 26.
