Idris Elba In Talks To Play Man-at-Arms In Masters of the Universe

Idris Elba is gearing up to join the Masters of the Universe film as Man-at-Arms. THR reports that the Pacific Rim and Luther star is in talks to play Duncan, which would see him join Nicholas Galitzine (He-Man), Camila Mendes (Teela) and Alison Brie (Evil Lyn) in the film.

Travis Knight is directing the film, which was written by Chris Butler. Plot details are not yet known for the adaptation of the toy and animation franchise, which will release via Amazon MGM Studios on June 5th, 2026.

Elba will next be seen (or rather, heard) reprising his role as Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which releases on December 20th.
