Jeffrey Tambor Will Appear In Arrested Development Season 5

TVLine reports that Netflix has confirmed that Jeffrey Tambor will appear in the fifth season of Arrested Development.

Tambor was fired from Amazon’s series Transparent back in February after allegations of sexual misconduct. Co-star Trace Lysette was one of the accusers and claimed in November that Tambor made sexual comments to her and then pressed his groin against her on set during season two. AT the time, Tambor said he was “profoundly disappointed” in Amazon and insisted that the investigation was “deeply flawed and biased toward the toxic politicized atmosphere that afflicted our set.”

Filming on the fifth season had wrapped by the time the allegations became public. Series creator Mitch Hurwitz said earlier this week that the fifth season would debut “soon.” A remixed version of the fourth season debuted on Netflix today.
