Jeffrey Wright in Talks For Commissioner Gordon in The Batman

Jeffrey Wright is set to become the law in Gotham, as he’s in talks to play Jim Gordan in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. THR reports that the Westworld star is in negotiations to join Robert Pattinson in the film, which is set for a June 25th, 2021 release date.

Wright would become the latest star to take on the role, following the footsteps of Pat Hingle (the Tim Burton Batman films), Gary Oldman (Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy), Ben McKenzie (Gotham) J.K. Simmons (Justice League) and more.
