Jennifer Lawrence Leads Super Bowl Cheer On A Plane

Jennifer Lawrence took over a Delta Airlines flight on Sunday to lead the passengers in a cheer before the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl. In the middle of the flight from New Orleans to Los Angeles, fans heard the actress’ voice on the loudspeaker.

She said: “Everybody, this is not the pilot speaking. This is Jennifer Lawrence. It’s February 4, Super Bowl Sunday, and we all know what that means. Can I please get a ‘Fly, Eagles, Fly’? Fly, Eagles, fly! Fly, Eagles, fly!”

Not many people joined in, but one passenger told People they appreciated the effort. They said: ““It was just like a fun, spontaneous chant by Jennifer Lawrence that we definitely appreciated. I think everyone just went along with it, since flights are so boring.”

Lawrence also attempted a reference to Bridesmaids before flight attendants tried to stop her.
