Juno Temple Joins Venom 3 in Leading Role

Juno Temple is heading to the Sony Spider-Man Universe, joining the cast of Venom 3 in a major role. Deadline reports that Temple (Ted Lasso, The Dark Knight Rises) is in talks to co-star in the third film of the Tom Hardy-led franchise. The report notes that it is a “lead role,” though details on who she will be playing is under wraps.

Temple joins Hardy in front of the camera for the film. Kelly Marcel, who has been a writer on the films, is set to direct.

The Venom franchise has not been loved by critics but has been a hit franchise for Sony, grossing $1.358 billion worldwide against a total budget of $226 million between the two films.
