Keanu Reeves Wants to Play John Wick As Long As He Can
Keanu Reeves is up for playing John Wick as long as he’s able to pull it off. Reeves, who has played the Baba Yaga himself in three films now, spoke with OK Magazine for a new interview and was asked about his role as the assassin trying to navigate the world that he’s dragged back into after his dog was killed in the original 2014 entry.
Asked about how long he plans to play Wick, Reeves kept it simple, saying, “As far as my legs can take me. As far as the audience wants to go.”
The franchise saw its last entry with John Wick: Chaper 3 – Parabellum in 2019, which grossed $326.7 million worldwide. The fourth entry is set to his theaters on May 27th, 2022 and is expected to pick up on the end of the last film, which ended with Wick and Laurence Fishburne’s Bowery King set to wage war on the High Table.
