Ketchup Entertainment Officially Acquires Coyote vs. ACME

As previously reported, Warner Bros. Discovery had been negotiating to sell the rights to Coyote vs. ACME after previously shelving the completed film. In a press release, Ketchup Entertainment announced that they have acquired the worldwide rights to the film. Ketchup previously released another Looney tunes movie this year, The Day the Earth Blew Up.

COYOTE VS. ACME
Los Angeles, CA – March 31, 2025 – Ketchup Entertainment today announced its acquisition from Warner Bros. Pictures of worldwide rights to COYOTE VS. ACME, a live-action/animated hybrid film that brings the iconic Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote to the big screen.

Directed by Dave Green, COYOTE VS. ACME features a stellar cast, including Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor and Tone Bell. The film centers on Wile E. Coyote as he takes legal action against the Acme Corporation for the countless faulty products that have hindered his relentless pursuit of the Road Runner. COYOTE VS. ACME is produced by Chris deFaria and James Gunn with a screenplay by Samy Burch.
