King of the Hill Revival Lands Two-Season Renewal From Hulu

Yep, I tell ya whut. There’s some good news for King of the Hill fans today. The hit series, which recently debuted its new revival Season 14 earlier this year, has landed a two-season renewal from Hulu. The announcement was revealed today in a new video on the official King of the Hill account on X (see below).

The revival initially received a two-season order of twenty episodes. Today’s announcement also confirmed that Hank Hill, Peggy, Bobby, and the rest of the Rainey Street gang will be back for Season 15, debuting in 2026 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The renewal will take the long-running hit series to its 17th season.

Season 14 saw Hank Hill (Mike Judge) and his wife Peggy (Kathy Najimy) returning to their old home in Arlen, Texas, after living in Saudi Arabia for several years to build their retirement nest egg. Their return reunites them with their old friends Dale Gribble (Toby Huss, later taking over for the late Johnny Hardwick), Bill Dauterive (Stephen Root), and Boomhauer (Judge).

Meanwhile, their son Bobby (Pamela Adlon) is now living in Dallas, Texas, running and serving as head chef of his own restaurant. After returning home, Hank and Peggy struggle to readjust to a greatly changed Arlen and come to terms with living in retirement.

Also, Bobby reconnects with his old childhood girlfriend, Connie Souphanousinphone (Lauren Tom), whom it’s eventually revealed he still has feelings for. Now in his 20s, Bobby Hill must learn about the joys of adulting, plus navigating the dating world in modern times.

Upon its return, King of the Hill Season 14 earned rave reviews, with the Emmy Award-winning series’ 14th season scoring 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. The revival is produced by 20th Television Animation and executive-produced by original co-creators Judge and Greg Daniels. Dustin Davis, Michael Rotenberg, and Howard Klein are also executive producers.
