Kit Harington Reportedly Joining Marvel Cinematic Universe

Jon Snow appears to be making the trek over to the MCU, as Kit Harington is reportedly set to join an upcoming Marvel project. Deadline reports that the Game of Thrones star is set for a film, though the specifics have not yet been revealed.

Harington’s run on Game of Thrones ended with the series finale in May, and since then he’s kept a fairly low profile. Marvel has several films announced including Black Widow, Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. There are also almost certainly unannounced films in development, though those would be less likely to be into the casting phase at this point.

The site notes that it is possible that more about Harington’s role will be revealed at D23 Expo this weekend.
