Loki Season 2 Sets October Disney+ Premiere
Loki will unveil its second season in October, as announced by Disney on Tuesday. As Deadline reports, Kevin Feige announced an October 6th premiere date for the second season of the MCU series at Disney’s Upfront presentation. New episodes of the season will air weekly.
Tom Hiddleston is back as the titular character in the second season, where Loki will have to deal with the ramifications of the first season where he and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino) confronted He Who Remains and learned that the Time Variance Authority was just a way for him to prune variants of himself from different universes. Sylvie killed He Who Remains, unleashing the multiverse, and sent Loki back to the TVA where he discovered that Kang the Conqueror had replaced one of the statues of the Time Keepers due to events of the episode.
The new season stars Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.
