Moon Knight is coming to live-action on Disney+, and a new report says that filming will start early next year. Discussing Film reports that Marvel Studios is looking to start filming on the show in early 2021 in Budapest after Oscar Isaac finishes filming on his HBO series Scenes from a Marriage.

The site also reports that Gregory Middleton (Watchmen, Game of Thrones) will serve as cinematographer on the show with Stefania Cella (Morbius) on board as production designer. Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab is directing all episodes of the series, which is being written and developed by Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy).

Isaac is reportedly set to play the titular role, aka Marc Spector, in the series. Spector is a former mercenary who became the mortal agent of the Egyptian god Khonshu after being left for dead on a mission in Egypt. He suffers from Disassociativee Identity Disorder with several alternate personalities.

Moon Knight does not currently have a premiere date set.
