Matt Reeves Apparently Confirms Robert Pattinson Casting as Batman

The Batman director Matt Reeves appears to have confirmed reports that Robert Pattinson is the new Dark Knight. Reeves posted to Twitter as you can see below, sharing a GIF of Pattinson from the 2017 drama Good Times with a trio of bat emojis:

Warner Bros. reportedly approved Pattinson to play the lead role in Reeves’ film, which is set to begin production later this year or early in 2020. The film is described as a “point of view-driven, noir Batman tale” that is set during Bruce Wayne’s younger years.
