Michael Rapaport Stopped Man From Opening Emergency Door on American Airlines Flight
TMZ reports that a passenger on an American Airlines flight attempted to open an emergency door on an airplane mid-flight. During the incident, actor Michael Rapaport apparently stopped the passenger from opening the door.
FOX Sports director Ted Kenney commented on the event on Twitter. It was a flight from Los Angeles to Houston early Saturday morning. He then saw Rapaport jump out of his seat and rushed toward the man trying to open the door while yelling, “What the f*** are you doing?!”
The man in question claimed he was confused and thought the emergency door was actually the bathroom door. It’s not clear how he came to that conclusion.
Sources close to American Airlines claims that airport authorities and the FBI later spoke to the passenger. They reportedly determined he was in fact “confused,” and he was later let go. The passenger later continued on a flight from Los Angeles to Vietnam because he was going to visit his ill mother.
Michael Rapaport later commented on the incident on his Twitter account. You can see his comments below.
