Netflix Releasing Additional Tiger King Episode Next Week
If you want a little more Tiger King in your life, good luck: Netflix has another episode on the way. Jeff Lowe, who is featured in the docuseries, posted to Twitter to note in a Cameo video that “Netflix is adding one more episode that will be on next week. They’re filming here tomorrow.”
It’s unclear as of now what the episode will focus on and whether it will be a kind of cast reunion or an epilogue with additional information. There have been new developments since the show premiered, with Tampa authorities re-opening the cold case of Jack Donald “Don” Lewis’ 1997 disappearance because of new tips that have been received since. But whether the show will reference that or not is entirely unknown.
Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness has been an internet sensation since it released on March 20th. It is described as follows:
Among the eccentrics and cult personalities in the stranger-than-fiction world of big cat owners, few stand out more than Joe Exotic, a mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. Charismatic but misguided, Joe and an unbelievable cast of characters including drug kingpins, conmen, and cult leaders all share a passion for big cats, and the status and attention their dangerous menageries garner. But things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe’s arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner.
So our friend @christie_dish listened to the podcast, @HoldingKourt and after last weeks episode decided to send us this!!!
