New Batgirl Set Photo Teases Other Batfamily Characters

DC is nearing production on Batgirl and new set photos are revealing hints at some other members of the Batfamily. The film is starting filming soon in Glasgow, and the new set photos feature references to Batman, Robin, and Black Canary as you can see below.

The film, which is set to release on HBO Max, is already confirmed to star Leslie Grace as Barbara Gordon, J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, and Michael Keaton reportedly reprising his role as Bruce Wayne. There have been rumors that other members of the Batman Family such as the the Birds of Prey — Jurnee Smolett’s Canary, Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress, and Rosie Perez’s Renee Montoya – may be appearing but that is not confirmed by any measure.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys for Life) are directing Batgirl from a script by Christina Hodson. No release date is yet known.
