New Smile Featurette Previews The Horror Film’s Story

Paramount’s latest horror film Smile arrives on September 30th, and a new featurette previews the film’s story and tone. Paramount released the new behind-the-scenes video for the film on Wednesday, which features writer/director Parker Finn as well as his cast talking about the film’s mood as an “escalating nightmare” and showing off some new footage in the process. The film stars Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kyle Gallner, Robin Weigert, and Caitlin Stasey with Kal Penn and Rob Morgan, and is described as follows:

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
