New Star Wars: The Clone Wars Trailer Introduces The ‘Bad Batch’

Star Wars: The Clone Wars premieres its final season on February 21st, and a new trailer introduces Squad 99, aka the “Bad Batch.” You can see the trailer below for the season, which will air on Disney+.

Squad 99 was originally set to be the focus of the seventh season that would have aired in 2015 but was cancelled while production was still taking place on the four-parter. The squad consists of defective clones who ended up with “desirable mutations.” The plans were reworked into the new final season for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which will run twelve episodes and begin as Squad 99 is brought along with Captain Rex on a mission to infiltrate an enemy base on Anaxes.
