New Teasers Released for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Theme Park

Disney Parks has released some new teasers and videos promoting the upcoming theme park, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. You can check out those videos in the players below.

The videos were originally released by Disney Parks Chairman Bob Chapek at D23’s Destination D event at the Walt Disney World Resort this weekend. The videos promote the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attractions for the park.

The Smugglers Run attraction will put guests behind the controls of the Millennium Falcon in one of three unique flight crew roles. For Rise of the Resistance, guests will be placed in the middle of an epic battle between the Resistance and the First Order. The video for Rise of the Resistance was shot in the actual attraction.

Additionally, legendary composer John Williams is confirmed to be creating new music and original themes that will be used exclusively at the theme park. The new music was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is slated to open in Fall 2019 at Disneyland Park in Anaheim California and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida.
