New Trailer Debuts For Happy Death Day 2U

Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for Blumhouse’s Happy Death Day 2U, the sequel to the 2017 horror comedy. The film was written and directed by Christopher Landon. It stars Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard. Jason Blum will executive produce with Samson Mucke, Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi. The sequel debuts in theaters on February 14.

Here’s a synopsis: Jessica Rothe leads the returning cast of Happy Death Day 2U, the follow-up to Blumhouse’s (Split, Get Out, The Purge series) surprise 2017 smash hit of riveting, repeating twists and comic turns. This time, our hero Tree (Rothe) discovers that dying over and over was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.
