Paramount+ Renews Tulsa King For Season Three

Sylvester Stallone’s crime drama Tulsa King is coming back for a third season at Paramount+. As THR reports, the streamer announced on Tuesday that production has begun on a third season of the series, which stars Stallone as Oklahoma crime boss Dwight “The General” Manfredi.
The new season will see Dave Erickson, who is an executive producer on the show, take the reins of showrunner. Erickson takes over from Terence Winter and Craig Zisk, who split the showrunning duties for season two.
Tulsa King follows Manfredi, a New York Mafia capo released from prison after 25 years, who is exiled to Tulsa, Oklahoma by his boss where he builds a new criminal empire with an unlikely crew. The show’s second season premiere broke records as the most-watched premiere in Paramount+ history. In addition to Stallone, the series stars Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Garrett Hedlund, Dana Delany, Tatiana Zappardino, and Annabella Sciorra. OVW star Mike “Ca$h Flo” Walden had a recurring role in season two.
