Rey Mysterio Appears In Trailer For Netflix’s Lucha Series Against The Ropes

Netflix is set to release a new lucha libre-themed series featuring Rey Mysterio, and the trailer is now online. WWE shared the trailer for Against The Ropes on Tuesday, which you can check out below. The dramedy comes from Carolina Rivera and Fernando Sariñana and stars Caraly Sánchez, Alisson Santiago, Scarlet Gruber, Michelle Rodríguez, Giovanna Zacarías, María Balam, Valentina Buzzurro.

WWE states that the series will arrive on Netflix on January 25th. The series is described as follows:

Released from prison, Ángela tries to regain the respect of her daughter, who loves lucha libre wrestling, by entering the ring as a mysterious persona.
