Rita Ora Signs On For Role in Detective Pikachu

Rita Ora is set to join the cast of Detective Pikachu in an as-yet-undisclosed role. THR reports that Ora, the pop singer who co-starred in the Fifty Shades films as Mia Grey, will play a character whose role is being kept under wraps.

Ora will co-star in the film along with Ryan Reynolds, Suki Waterhouse, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe and Bill Nighy. Smith plays a teenahe whose father is kidnapped, which leads him to Pikachu (Reynolds) and a young journalist (Newton) who team up in order to find him.

Rob Letterman is directing the film, which releases on May 10th, 2019.
