Sarah Jeffery Cast as Lead for CW’s Charmed Reboot

Deadline.com repots that Sarah Jeffery (Shades of Blue) has been cast in the lead role for the upcoming pilot for The CW’s planned reboot of Charmed. Jeffery has been cast in the role of the youngest sister, Madison.

She joins the cast opposite Melonie Diaz as Mel and Ser’Darius as Blain. Here’s a synopsis:

“This fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch’s work is never done.”

Urman, O’Toole and Rardin will executive produce with Ben Silverman and director Brad Silberling.
