Sonic the Hedgehog Design Changing Due to Fan Backlash Over Trailer
The design for the titular character of Sonic the Hedgehog is undergoing changes due to fans being up in arms over his look in the trailer. Sonic director Jeff Fowler posted to Twitter to let fans know that the design of the character will be tweaked after hearing fan feedback about the character’s human-like physique, teeth and more.
Fowler posted:
Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast 🔧✌️
