The Witcher Kicking Off Season Two Pre-Production Soon
Netflix has another hit series in its adaptation of The Witcher, and the second season is set to begin pre-production soon. Henry Cavill, who stars as Geralt in the adaptation of the fantasy novels and video game franchise, posted a new video to thank fans for their support of the show. During the video he noted that pre-production will kick off “shortly.”
The series has been incredibly popular on Netflix and was renewed for a second season in November before the first season even premiered. It stars Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg, Freya Allin as Princess Cirilla, Jodhi May as Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson as Eist, Adam Levy as Mousesack, MyAnna Buring as Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni as Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read as Sabrina, and Emma Appleton as Renfri, Eamon Farren as Cahir, Joey Batey as Jaskier, Lars Mikkelsen as Stregobor, Royce Pierreson as Istredd, Maciej Musia as Sir Lazlo, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte as Dara, and Anna Shaffer as Triss.
The show is currently streaming on Netflix.
