Tim Blake Nelson Signs On to Join Gerard Butler in Angel Has Fallen

Tim Blake Nelson has joined the cast of Angel Has Fallen. Deadline reports that the O Brother, Where Art Thou? co-star has signed on to an as-yet-undisclosed role in the film. He joins Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman in the film, which is the third installment in the franchise that began with Olympus Has Fallen and moved onto London Has Fallen in 2016.

The third film follows Banning who is framed for the attempted assassination of President and must elude his own agency and the FBI as he tries to uncover the real threat. Jada Pinkett Smith, Piper Perabo, and Sapir Azulay also star in the film, which doesn’t have a release date yet.
