Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega has set his sights on regaining the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.

At NJPW King of Pro-Wrestling, Yota Tsuji defeated Ryohei Oiwa to retain the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. However, Tsuji was immediately put on notice by Kenny Omega through a video message.

Following that, Tsuji was confronted in the ring by Oleg Boltin. The Cleaner then showed up and ambushed Boltin before laying out Yota. He then grabbed the championship belt and held it in the air.

Later, Kenny proposed a three-way bout for next month’s NJPW Power Struggle, with him, Tsuji, and Boltin battling in a non-title match. Omega said if he emerged victorious in the proposed match, he’d earn a shot at the world title. Omega is a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

NJPW Power Struggle 2026 will take place at Hiroshima Sun Plaza in Hiroshima, Japan, on November 3. Below is the updated card:

-> IWGP Heavyweight Championship Match: The Knock Out Brothers (Yuto-Ice & OSKAR) [c] vs. United Empire (Will Ospreay & Callum Newman)
-> IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship Match: Gabe Kidd [c] vs. Taichi
-> Three-Way Match: Yota Tsuji vs. Kenny Omega vs. Oleg Boltin. (If Omega wins, he’ll earn a shot at the IWGP Heavyweight Championship).
