Trailer, Poster Revealed For Stephen King Adaptation The Boogeyman

Stephen King’s The Boogeyman makes its way to theaters in June, and the first trailer and poster for the film are online. 20th Century Studios released the new trailer and key art for the film on Monday, and you can check them out below. The film takes the idea behind King’s short story — in which a man recounts his children having been stalked by the titular monster — and expands it out to feature length.
The film is directed by Rob Savage (Host) from a script by Scott Beck & Bryan Woods (A Quiet Place) and Mark Heyman (Black Swan). It stars Sophie Thatcher, Chris Messina, Vivien Lyra Blair, Marin Ireland, Madison Hu, LisaGay Hamilton, and David Dastmalchian and is described as follows:
High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister Sawyer are reeling from the recent death of their mother and aren’t getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who is dealing with his own pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their home seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.
