Latest On The Sphere As Possible Backup Location For WrestleMania 43

Rumors that WWE could be using Las Vegas’ The Sphere as a backup location for WrestleMania 43 are reportedly unfounded, at least for now. As noted on Monday, there have been rumors floating around that the company is looking for the famed venue as a fallback location, should they be forced to move the show from Saudi Arabia due to the increasing tensions in the region.

WrestleVotes Radio On Fightful Select has a new report that notes WWE has expressed interest internally in using The Sphere. However, as of now, the site notes that there has been no indication of “meaningful negotiations” between the venue and WWE.

It was noted in the build to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas that WWE reached out to The Sphere about displaying a promotional piece for WrestleMania 42 on The Sphere, which would have featured Danhausen. However, WWE and the venue could not come to an agreement.

The report adds that WWE does have a backup plan for hosting WrestleMania 43 domestically should things come to that. That said, those plans are being kept very quiet.
