Sony Pictures has found their writing team for Jumanji 3. Deadline reports that Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinker will write the script for the third film in the series, which will see Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan all return to reprise their roles. Rosenberg and Pinker re-wrote the script for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which has become one of the biggest hits of 2017 with $857 million worldwide thus far.

Sony is looking to release the film during the holiday season of 2019.
