Zoey Deutch Joins The Cast Of Zombieland 2

Variety reports that Zoey Deutch has joined the cast of Sony Pictures’ Zombieland 2, which will be released in October 2019. The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer from a script by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. It also stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin. Reese and Wernick will also executive produce while Gavin Polone produces. Lauren Abrahams will oversee for Sony. The film begins production in January.

The film will follow the group from the first as they deal with zombies that have evolved since the first film, along with new human survivors. Deutch’s role has not been revealed.
