We are coming off of Wednesday’s PPV, which was a good show, and build well for the upcoming weeks.

Recap of Wednesday’s events.

Tenay and West welcome us to Orlando and TNA Impact!

Match #1 Miyamoto and Nosawa vs. XXX (“Primetime” and “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels)

Jeff Hammond is on commentary. Miyamoto and Daniels to start, lock up and Daniels gets a headlock. Reversals, and an arm drag by Daniels. Back to their feet, and a drop kick to the knees of Daniels. Slam by Daniels and a slingshot elbow for 2. Nosawa gets a kick to Daniels, and tags Miyamoto. Chops by Miyamoto, and Daniels is in trouble. Tag to Nosawa, off the ropes goes Daniels and Nosawa gets a back elbow. Double team by Team Japan, then a basement drop kick by Nosawa. Tag to Miyamoto, and he kicks away, but Daniels gets an STO and Miyamoto is down. Tag to Skipper and Nosawa and Elix takes Nosawa down with a spin kick for 2. Elix with a double clothesline then a slam to Nosawa and gets 2. Daniels back in now, but he gets taken back to the corner, and Miyamoto goes for the mist and GETS NOSAWA! Miyamoto gets tossed to the floor, and XXX gets the “Powerplex” (Powerbomb/Suplex combo) to get the win @ 5:42.

Afterwards, Team Canada comes down and talks smack to XXX.

Good opening match. XXX looked great, and are looking like then never took a break from tagging.

Back with a video on the Sabu and Raven feud.

Match #2 Sabu vs. Allister Ross

Ross tries to attack Sabu, but he ducks away and kicks him down. Springboard leg lariat for 2 by Sabu. Camel Clutch by Sabu, but Ross gets him up and gets the electric chair drop for 2. Ross fires away at Sabu, then gets a full nelson slam for 2. Ross goes up top…but Sabu stops him. Sabu pulls him off enough for the spike DDT for 2. Leg drop by Sabu, and he goes for the chair. He comes in, but Ross kicks him in the head. Ross slides the chair in the ring, and Sabu as well. Sabu fights back, Ross to the corner, sets up the chair and gets a triple jump RANA for 2. Sabu takes Ross down, sets up the chair again and gets the triple jump moonsault for the win @ 3:26.

After the match, Sabu does the Raven pose.

Basically a glorified squash. Ross got some offense in, and he looked pretty good. They really played the Sabu vs. Abyss match for Wednesday, and the feud with Raven.

Commercial time.

We are back.

Match #3 Roderick Strong vs. Alex “Baby Bear” Shelley w/Goldi and Abyss

Ring Of Honor’s GENERATION NEXT COLLIDE!

Lock up to start, reversals series and Shelley gets a version of an abdominal stretch. Breaks it, and Shelley takes down Strong and knees him. Shelley gloats, and Strong kicks him in the back, then a back suplex for 2. Reversals again, and a neck breaker by Shelly for 2. Snap mare by Shelley followed by a sling shot leg drop for 2. Strong misses a corner charge, and Shelley gets a knee shot from the top rope. Fisherman’s buster finishes Strong @ 4:17.

After the match, Goldi hugs on Shelley and they leave, and Abyss is in the ring waiting for his hug. See, monsters need some lovin too!

Not bad, but nothing special. Shelley seems to be a very uneven worker, almost like he is thinking too much when it comes to mat work and reversals.

Commercial time.

We are back.

Match #4 “The Alpha Male” Monty Brown vs. Lex Lovett

Lovett looks like he is an MMA wanna be.

Lock up to start, and Brown shoves Lovett to the corner and punches away. Brown basically just hitting him like 30 times, then some chops now. Lovett shot to the corner, float over and punches away on Brown, hits the ropes…Brown catches him and gets the fall away slam. Brown sends Lovett off the ropes…POUNCE! ARE YOU NOT….ENTERTAINED?!? @ 1:33.

Brown on the mic now, he tells JJ the Serengeti is a dangerous place, filled with vast plains and no mountains. Here, there can only be 1 Alpha Male!

Squash that made Monty look very good, and a nice short promo afterwards.

Commercials.

Back again with Jeff Hammond 6 points of Impact with Jeff Jarrett. JJ says the pleasure is all his. JJ says he won the King of the Mountain match, and he will always be known as that. They wrestle in the Asylum, and JJ put it on the map. JJ says Russo is doing everything to take the title from JJ. JJ says the NWA title is the most prestigious one in wrestling. He says Monty Brown is minor league, JJ is major league. Hammond brings up Hardy, and JJ says he took out Hogan, Sting and will gladly do the same to Jeff Hardy.

Tenay and West shill the website and next Wednesday. AJ and Jerry Lynn vs. Kazarian and Shane, David Young and the NYC vs. Mike Posey, Sharky and D Ray 3000. Big Vito vs. Pat Kenny in a Sicilian Street fight, XXX vs. Abismo Negro and Mr. Agulia in a #1 contenders match for the tag titles, Abyss vs. Sabu in a no DQ match. Tenay will have a sit-down interview with Kid Kash. The Main Event will be AMW vs. The Naturals © in a Steel Cage for the NWA tag Team Titles.

Shane Douglas backstage with Kazarian, Shane and Traci. They feel great, because they did what they said they would do. Today, they will prove to AMW that they aren’t as good as they think either.

Commercial time.

We are back.

Match #5 Michael Shane and Kazarian w/Traci vs. America’s Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris)

Shane and Storm to start, lock up and they each get an arm bar, then a reversal. Shane with a knee to the gut of Storm, and Shane now with chops. Strom reverses him and now he chops away at Shane. Shane tries to throw Storm to the floor, but he skins the cat, and tags Harris. Bulldog by Harris, and now a nice delayed vertical suplex by Harris for 2. Shane gets a shot in and tags Kazarian. Kazarian tries a drop kick, but Harris holds on. He tries to follow up, but Traci grabbed him and tripped him up and Kazarian gets a sweet swinging neck breaker and we go to commercial @ 3:05.

We are back @ 5:42 with Shane in control of Harris. Shane with the corner mount, and again. Boot to the head by Harris then he takes him down with a full nelson slam. Tag to Kazarian and Storm. Storm is on fire giving right s and lefts to both men, then slams. Power slam to Kazarian for 2. Kazarian with a kick to Storm, then a Fisherman’s DDT by Shane to Storm for 2. Kazarian sent to the floor, Harris has Shane on his shoulders, and Storm gets an inverted DDT for 2. Catatonic by Harris to Kazarian, and Shane is back in. Reversals of the Catatonic, then the super kick, but Shane gets a super kick to Harris, then a super kick to Shane by Storm and a Mafia kick to Storm by Kazarian! They all fight to their feet, AMW tries the Death Sentence on Kazarian, but Shane knocks down Harris. Kazarian rolls up Storm for 2. Spear to Kazarian and as the ref starts to count the time limit expires.

Winners of the match, by rule of judge Dusty Rhodes is America’s Most Wanted @ 10:00.

The Naturals come out and start the beat down on AMW, and XX comes out as well as we go to a video hyping next Wednesday.

Good tag match. They had to keep Kazarian and Shane strong for the AJ feud, and AMW winning by Dusty’s decision basically means nothing since AMW are his boys. That also could turn into a good angle for them to play off of.

Solid show this week, nothing blow away, but yet nothing bad. It is a good hour spent in my books.

Thanks for taking the time to read today. If you want to read more from me, take a trip over to TWTF.com! Thanks for joining me this week for Impact. Keep the feed back coming, I crave it and can’t live without it! Until next time, I am Larry Csonka and you know you want to be a Zonkamaniac~!
