AEW Christmas Collision Brings In Show’s Highest Ratings Since July 2023

Christmas Collision proved to be a big hit for AEW’s Saturday show, as it drew the show’s highest numbers since July 2023. Wrestlenomics reports that the show brought in 635,000 viewers, up significantly from the previous week’s 246,000 viewers.
In the key 18-49 rating, Collision had an 0.20, up from the previous week’s 0.09.
Christmas Collision was notable for having a more stacked card than normal, including Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet, an MJF-Adam Cole segment and Darby Allin vs Claudio Castagnoli. It definitely benefitted from its lead-in, the College Football Playoff game between Clemson and Texas. That game had 8.6 million viewers and was the most watched sports program on TNT, TBS or TruTV in 23 years.
Collision’s main competition was Ohio State vs. Tennessee, which had 14.3 million viewers.
