AEW Dynamite (4/22) Viewership & Demo Ratings Down From Last Week

Viewership numbers and ratings are in for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

According to Programming Insider, the April 22, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite drew 617,000 viewers on TBS. Notably, the show garnered 710,000 viewers last week. The April 15 episode of Dynamite saw Darby Allin dethrone MJF as AEW World Champion in dominant fashion.

Ratings in the key 18-to-49 demographic also saw a dip, as it scored 0.10 as opposed to the 0.12 rating it received on April 15. Notably, Dynamite faced stiff competition this week, as it was up against the NFL and NBA Playoffs.

A hellacious AEW World Championship match between Allin and former TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa headlined the show. The Psycho Killer pulled out all the stops to dethrone Darby, but he eventually tapped out to the Scorpion Death Lock.
It also saw a segment between MJF and current TNT Champion Kevin Knight, leading to a championship bout being announced for next week. Elsewhere, Chris Jericho recruited The Hurt Syndicate to tackle The Demand.
