AEW Revolution is expected to take place on the Saturday of WrestleMania week in 2027, according to Fightful Select Answers Q&A. WWE has announced that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Saudi Arabia in April 2027. No date or venue has been specified so far.
It will mark the first WrestleMania held outside North America. Fightful Select was asked whether AEW could turn the period into a larger destination event. The report noted that independent promoters and convention organizers are already expected to target the same period.
The report said AEW will “probably run Saturday night of Mania week.” However, it also stated that the event is not expected to take place in a stadium. Starrcast is reportedly expected to pursue another partnership with AEW. WrestleCon is also expected to hold events during the same period. Independent promoters have also reportedly been seeking information about AEW’s plans.
AEW President Tony Khan has previously discussed the possibility of holding a major U.S. event during WrestleMania 43 weekend.
WWE officials are reportedly expecting Tony Khan and AEW to have a significant presence somewhere in the USA during WrestleMania 43 weekend.
